Abstract
Among all the composite materials that have come into being with the advent of science and technology, the fibreglass reinforced plastic (FRP) material has established its diverse utility rather significantly. On account of its high strength and chemical durability, it functions as a good substitute for wood and metals, very often surpassing considerably the properties of these materials.
