| The 16th Annual General Meeting of the Indian Ceramic
Society was held on 6th, 7th and 8th Janu:-.ry, 1°!'7 in a tastefully
decorated Panda! which was specially constructed by the
Reception Committee for holding the said session in the
premises of the Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute,
Jadavpur, Calcutta, under the Presidentship of Lt. Col. D. N.
Bhattacharya, President of the Society. A large number of
distinguished guests and delegates from nearly <:vrry part of
the country, representing Pottery, Glass, Enamelling, Refractories,
etc. attended the meeting. Messages of greetings from
well-wishers and sister societies, were received. Comfortable
arrangements for boarding and lodging of the delegates were
made by the Reception Committee. |
