| Abstract |
| Dielectric loss and DC resistivity of alkaline earth alumino-silicate glasses
were measured at elevated temperatures. The activation energies for AC and DC
conduction are not sig~T~ificantly different. The alkali ions present fM impurities
( < 0.27%) have been suggested to be the conducting species. Probably they have
slightly higher mobility when CaO is replaced by MgO in the glass composition. |
