Abstract
Introduction DIFFERENTIAL thermal analysis is a wellknown method for studying thermal changes, taking place in organic or inorganic materials. Normally the analysis is done upto 1000°C, which does not reveal the thermal changes taking place during firing of clay products upto the firing temperature. As such, DT A was carried out on some Indian clays up to l500°C, and the results are presented in this communication.
