Abstract
Laboratory Glassware is an important equipment which finds use in the teaching of science, in research and industry. A variety of glass apparatus also finds use in hospitals. As the requirement of glass apparatus is large and varied, and is increasing every day, it is being manufactured in a number of small, medium sized and large factories, spread throughout the country. Therefore, to ensure availability of this important item both in acceptable uniform quality and quantity, it is essential that norms or standards are laid down for all such laboratory glassware.
