| A systematic study of the effect of different heat-treatment schedules and glass
composition on the nature of chromic oxide crystals separated in a glass of the composition
Si02 60.9, B20 3 7.4, Na20 11.6, K20 /.2, CaO 8.2, ZnO 6.1 and Cr20 3 3.6
weight percent was carried out. The size and number of crystals varied with the schedules
of heat treatment and a mechanism of the crystal growth have been outlined. |
