| Abstract |
| The effect of docking on the prevention of lime blowing has been studied on
bricks produced with varying sizes and amounts of kankar andjired at temperatures
ranging from 800°-l060°C.
Docking seems to be effective in almost all cases when bricks are fired at a
minimum temperature of 900oC and the size of kankar is below 2 mm and the amount
is less than 10%. |
