| Abstract |
| Efficient ladle management is the key to smooth functioning of
any steel melting shop with high productivity. At Tata Steel, this
was experienced for the first time when LD shop was commissioned
in 1983, and steel production started at a faster rate, i.e.
140 tonne/40 min. This deliberation highlights the refractory
practices evolved to get satisfatory campaign life from dolomite
ladles. |
