| Abstract |
| The Hindu Univer.:;ity has, since the Head Quarters of the
Indian Ceramics Society were shifted to Banaras, given ample
evidence of its keen intereRt in the Society's welfare. I am
particularly gratified that recently an arrangement has been
arrived at between the Society a~d the University for the construction
of a permanent building for the Library, Museum and
Office of the Society. That the Society has succeeded in achieving
its objects and hac; added to the knowledge of Ceramics,
adrr.it3 of no doubt. I trust that there will, as the years go on,
be close co-operation between manufacturers and institutions
engageJ in teaching Ceramic:;, for it is only a.':! a result of such
close co-operation tP,at there can be all round progress. |
