| Abstract |
| Chromium oxide in an extremely fine srate of subdivision
appears crimson and when it is precipitated on some mordent like
tin-oxide or alumina a pink stain is obtained. This pink colour
is not due to the formation of any chemical compound and this
chrom-tin-pink is similarly rdated to the gold purple of Cassius. |
