| Abstract |
| Brown is a mixed colour composed of three primary colours
yellow, red and blue ; with different proportions of these three
colours different shades of brown are obtained. For ceramic
purposes we can use only those materials that can stand very
high temperatures. There are only very few substances that
can serve this purpose and they are oxides of certain metals. |
