Abstract
The location of good gypsum in Dandot is generally spotted after a laborious search in the hill overlooking the railway station. Dandot hill is rapidly being exhausted of gypsum by heavy onslaughts on it. However, this material is regarded as the best in Asia judged in terms of its price and quality. Sometimes, we get soft gypsum possibly due to influence of weather on it, and then we have heavy wastages. We cannot hope of getting gypsum regularly from West Pakistan.
