were subjected to ladle slag attack in a gas fired furnace. A qualitative comparative
study of the slag attack on ladle bricks can be made by the method descdbed.
Bricks protruding towards the centre of the ladle are much more corrode1d than
those which are their neighbour. No relationship between physical propertws and
