| Abstract |
| Productivity of a Bessemer Shop depends on the availability
of the vessels, which in turn largely depends 011
the life of the bottoms. Properties of the material used in
the bottom, procedure of preparing the ramming mass and
ramming of the bottom have been described. Study was
undertaken in the plant for finding out various factors that
affect the life of the bottom. Results of the trials undertaken
in the plant have been described. |
